This was another Just For Fun card. I had seen something similar on Pinterest. But I don't have the same punches and embossing folders they used. So I did my own thing. I even added a little red shimmer paper from Stampin' Up! on my little bird's wing.

Unity Stamp Co monthly Challenge - October/November. Color Combo and/or sketch.
I used both the color combo and the sketch. Love the way this turned out. Let me just say, I stamped that precious little birdie 3 times before I finally got it right. NO it was NOT the stamp. You see I kept trying to die cut the little birdie image while my ink was still wet. Let's just say, it was not pretty and just when I was about to give up, I pulled out my handy dandy heat gun!!! So, all I can tell you is to Never Give UP!

The stamp and sentiment are of course from Unity Stamp Co - it's a stamp of the week WIB - 417 - Frosty Mornings & Lots of Snow - Bird. All the dsps are from Cosmo Cricket's Mini Deck : Parquet Miniature. All of the papers in this pack match the challenge colors perfectly!!!

For my card I used stamps by Close to my Heart and Flourishes Stamps. The dsp and cardstock are also from Close to my Heart. Thanks to my little CTMH demonstrator Carolyn and my Stampin' Up! buddy Deb for hooking me up!

Poinsettias are stamped on SU! Very Vanilla in archival Brilliance Pearlescent Lime ink. Then colored with Copics : E93, RV42, R22, and R08. The poinsettia leaves are stamped with Ranger Archival ink in Fern Green then colored with Copics : E93 and YG00.

Dynamic Duos #73 Cajun Craze & Island Indigo

 For my card I used the Stampin' Up! set Jewish Celebrations and the dsp Winter Frost Specialty. I used the same card design as my previous post. I am enjoying making a different style and size card for a change. What I really like about it is all the interactivity. Below is the color combo logo from Dynamic Duos #73. Hope you'll play along.

Christmas Challenges with Sketches #93

Found this card design in a UK magazine, but all the measurements are in cm. So I asked my math genius (hubby) to help me suss it out in inches. I am thrilled that we were able to work it out! I think it makes a fabulous card. If you are interested in the measurements just leave me a comment. If I get enough requests I will post the measurements lower in this post.

Below is a closeup of the images I stamped. The deer is from Stampin' Up! the tree is from Unity Stamp Co. stamp of the week (September 30 through October 6). 

I tore some cs and made a snow drift and added some rhinestones to bling it up!

Christmas Card Challenge #44 - Anything Goes!!!
I used real red cs with a piece of multi-red striped vellum. I ran the vellum through my Cuttlebug with a candy embossing folder. I added a piece of a doily. I borrowed the stamp from my friend Deb, but I think it is from Close to My Heart. I stamped the trees onto white cs with Fern Green Archival ink. I added Ranger Pearl Paint ruby red to decorate the trees. Real Red grosgrain ribbon and a Stampin' Up! embllishment and this one was done.
